Pilsen 
Pilsen is known as an industrial and brewing city. The Škoda Transportation company and other companies continue the tradition of the Škoda engineering company, and on the other side of the regional metropolis, the Plzeňský Prazdroj breweries are located in one plant, where the first batch of Pilsen light bottom-fermented lager was brewed on October 5, 1842, and which gave rise to all Pils, Pilsner and Pilsener types, and Gambrinus. Pilsen also has significant cultural significance. Numerous cultural houses and theaters are located here. the historic core of the city has a regular network of streets with the rectangular Republic Square in the middle (139 × 193 m), dominated by the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew with the highest church tower in the Czech Republic.
