St. Gilgen 
A picturesque village located in the Salzkammergut region on the northwestern shore of Lake Wolfgangsee near Salzburg. The village is particularly famous for its connection with the Mozart family: Although Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart never visited the village in person, St. Gilgen is known as "Mozart's village." His mother Anna Maria was born here, and his sister Nannerl also lived here for many years. His mother's house now houses the Mozarthaus museum.
